   Investing in the Fund
You may apply to purchase any number of units in the Ceylon Income Fund - provided you invest a minimum of Rs. 10,000 (USD 100). You also have to be a Sri Lankan citizen to invest in the Fund.
   Fund Operation
The Ceylon Income Fund invests its monies in short-term government securities (Treasury Bills). In turn the Fund enables investors to collect interest earnings on a monthly basis. As the Fund is invested exclusively in default-free government Treasury Bills, you are assured that your investment is secure.
   Investment Income
Your investment income (T-bill interest earned after the deduction of fund expenses) will be distributed monthly. If you have more than 10,000 units (Rs. 100,000) you may choose to have your interest cheque mailed to you each month. If you own less than 10,000 units of the Fund, your interest income will automatically be re-invested, thereby providing you with more units within the Fund..
